What does Leapin' Louie give fairs?

****Up to four stage show per day of high energy comedy, cowboy tricks, juggling and high unicyle that always attracts big crowds and gets children and adults laughing and cheering hard.

****A 9 foot tall cowboy wandering the grounds, putting a lasso around hundreds of kids, and attracting small crowds with humor, feats of rope spinning, whip cracking and magic.

*****Street shows instead of stage shows if you like, drawing crowds of 200 plus, with a rolling cart and battery-powered sound system.

That's it.

I have only been doing a handful of fairs each year in recent years, (In 2007 for example I spent most of the fair season at festivals in Canada, France, Germany, and Switzerland) but---
Every fair I have done in recent years has been highly satisfied, most of them have hired me over and over again, and at most of them I get major newspaper coverage.

So here's the fairs I have done the last 5 years:

San Diego County Fair at Del Mar, 1994, 2007 New Mexico State Fair 1994, 1995, 1996, 2006, 2007
Southern New Mexico State Fair 2006
Eastern New Mexico State Fair 2006
Ozark Empire Fair 2002,2004,2005(Missouri)
Harney County Fair 1998,2006(Oregon)
Jackson County Fair 1990,2004,2005(Oregon)
Clallum County Fair 2001,2003,2005(Washington)

Call one of these fairs up and ask the events director about me.

Here's some of the fairs I have done since 1988:

Del Mar Fair
Western Washington State Fair at Puyallup
Spokane Interstate Fair
Iowa State Fair
Alaska State Fair at Palmer
Tanana Valley Fair (Alaska)
Mid-South Fair (Memphis)
Oregon State Fair
Many County Fairs

Here is what fair directors have said:

"I enjoyed his shows so much that I watched every one and laughed just as hard the last time I saw it as I did the first."

Jackie D. Kirk Kids Zone Project Manager, Ozark Empire Fairgrounds

"We thoroughly enjoy your unique show, as you bring a little of the "old fashioned" comedy to the fair.
--- As a roving entertainer, I watched you draw record crowds, again, aand again. We received many positive comments about your shows, during, and long after the fair.
Your ability to be flexible in scheduling, to fill in whenever needed, is a big plus, and greatly appreciated by us all."

Catherine Mordente, Special Events Coordinator, Del Mar Fair

"David, your act was very well received. People enjoyed both your strolling sets, as well as your stage shows. You provided fun entertainment that was enjoyed by all ages."

Jan Higgins, Assistant Manager Iowa State Fair

"You were the best individual entertainer on Main Street. Your talent to involve the audience is a real plus and we hope we will be able to entice you back to our Main Street show. Thank you for one of our greatest entertainments shows!!!!"

Don R. Harsch, Main Street Cowboys Show Chairman Pendleton Round up

"Your ability to work at any location and to suggest alternative ideas was appreciated. You were the expert in knowing where and how to get crowds and you certainly did. Many of your shows would stop everyone and kept their attention during your entire performance. The Arizona State Fair has not had walk-around grounds entertainment for the last 4 years. Working with you let us know we made the right decision to bring back grounds entertainment."

Patricia Dupuis, Entertainment Manager Arizona State Fair
